This one is something I’ve been ruminating over for a while. Now I’m the first to say I’m not a style icon or really a fashion girlie, but I’ve always loved clothes and playing around with different styles. Unfortunately, I will also choose comfort over style and it’s wan’t till recently that I’ve learned to blend the two. I did however always wear whatever I wanted. I was never too swayed by what other people were wearing or could even afford to keep up with the Jones. Which makes you crafty and thrifty. After a really awful time in my life finding my style and building my wardrobe with intentional, quality pieces ended up intertwining with my quest to rebuild my confidence over the last few years. It helped open my eyes to the “fast fashion trap”, how I was contributing to clothing waste, and what I wanted to do differently. All that combined with me deconstructing the way I view wealth and over consumerism lead me to this episode. Hope you like it 😉
