“babblings” started as an off shoot of my podcast formally known as: Babbling’s of a Twentysomething. The podcast started out as my audio diary and has over the past few years transformed into a bit more formal format; where I discuss current events, my life, relationships, culture, politics, and sometimes a larger topic that I’ve been ruminating on. From that the babblings’ substack was born to be a one stop shop where you can listen/watch the podcast, but also get more in depth writing from me about my life and what’s going on in the world. I knew at some point substack wasn’t going to expand in the ways I wanted babblings too and that’s how babblings.net was born! babblings.net holds the blog and podcast, but also is a place to break away from the modern algorithm and play games or chat with like minded people!

When I started my Babbling’s of a Twentysomething podcast it was a way to do what I also wanted: SHARE. All my life I wondered why I loved to tell stories or always felt comfortable getting into the nitty gritty of life. I would fantasize about becoming famous not necessarily for the riches, but for the chance to write my memoir or sit on a fancy talk show couch and pour out all the lessons I’ve learned. One day I just allowed myself to see me for who I am, a storyteller. So the biggest point of babblings is to tell stories that hopefully you resonate with, and then you want to share your stories with me, and then we’re besties! So yeah the point is also creating community.
